Magistrate Declared Kavya Madhavan And Nischal Divorced

The Ernakulam Family Court had issued a divorce decree to Kavya Madhavan. The actress was married to Nischal Chandra, who is employed as an officer in Kuwait.

Soon after marriage, Kavya quit acting to stay with her husband in Kuwait.

However, within five months of marriage she developed differences of opinion with her husband and returned to India. She then filed for divorce and continued to concentrate on her acting career.

Her divorce came up for hearing recently and the magistrate declared Kavya and Nischal divorced.

Rajni's Health Is Most Discussed Issues In India

The actor had undergone intercostal drain (the draining of the excess fluid accumulated in the chest through an insertion of a plastic tube to the chest).

Rajinikanth was shifted from the ICU on Sunday, and is reported to be doing well. Prayers and get well messages from the actor’s fans are pouring in, and the officials at Ramachandra Hospital are having a hard time convincing fans, who are thronging to get a glimpse of their superstar.

Jayalalithaa Inquired About Rajinikanth Health Condition

Tamilnadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa spoke to Latha Rajnikanth over phone and inquired about the health condition of her husband and Super Star Rajinikanth, who has been admitted in a hospital in Chennai.

Jayalalithaa conveyed her wishes for a speedy recovery. She also thanked her for a letter congratulating her success in the elections written to her by Rajinikanth.

Latha described her about the treatment being given to Rajinikanth by the doctors.

Superstar Rajinikanth’s Endhiran also bagged award for Best Special Effects and Best production design.

Meanwhile, Versatile Prakash Raj has won National Award for the fifth time. His film Puttakkana Highway was given the Best Regional Film in Kannada. Apart from acting in the film, Prakash Raj also produced the film.

Prithviraj And Supriya In New York For Their Honeymoon

Young superstar Prithviraj and his journalist-wife Supriya Menon have reportedly left for New York for their honeymoon.

The newlywed couple is expected to spend more than a week in the city and will also attend the special screening of Veettilekkulla Vazhi at the New York International Film festival, which commenced on May 4.

Notably, the romance between Prithviraj and Supriya began during the making of Veettilekkulla Vazhi, in which Supriya was doing the sub-titling. It may be a coincidence that the couple celebrates their honeymoon in New York, where Veettilekkulla Vazhi is being screened.

Prithviraj and Supriya got married at a private wedding ceremony in Palakkad on April 25. They hosted separate wedding receptions for relatives and the film fraternity on April 30 and May 1.

Rajnikanth Hospitalised After Complained Of Breathing Trouble

Tamil superstar Rajnikanth, whose new film was launched today, was hospitalised here after he complained of breathing trouble.

The superstar, who took part in the first day’s shooting of his new venture "Rana", suffered breathing problem and was rushed to Isabells Hospital in the city, sources said.

However, his condition stated to be stable, sources said.After visiting her husband at the hospital Rajnikanth’s wife told newspersons that the superstar was fine and there was nothing to worry.

She said Rajnikanth had a minor stomach infection after he ate something at the pooja held for his new film "Rana" at the studios here.

Following this, he started vomiting and was admitted to the hospital as a precautionary measure, she said.

"There is nothing to worry. He is fine and in the safe hands of the doctors", she said and appealed to media not to sensationlise it, and his fans not to panic.

She said "we are also like any other citizen. Jus as you visit a doctor in the event of any illness, we have also come to the hospital," she said.
