Maveeran Received An A Certificate On Censor Board

Tollywood producer-distributer Allu Aravind’s stupendous blockbuster Magadheera, directed by S.S. Rajamouli with Ram Charan Teja and Kajal Aggarwal in the lead roles, which is being dubbed in Tamil as Maveeran, received an A certificate from the Censor Board recently.

We have just learnt from the makers that the Tamil version will hit screens on May 27, 2011.

The biggest hit in the history of Telugu Cinema, Magadheera recently completed 600 days. Produced under the banner of Geeta Arts, Magadheera was released worldwide on July 31 last year in around 1200 screens in 14 countries.

The music of Maveeran was launched by Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam in Chennai recently.

Leading Tamil-Telugu actress Kajal Aggarwal, who is currently basking in the success of two back-to-back hits (Prabhas’ Darling and Mr. Perfect in Telugu), has reportedly hiked her fee.

Notably, this most bankable actress in Tollywood is already drawing a whopping one crore per film. According to sources, she has increased her fee due to her forthcoming Bollywood debut.

Kajal is currently busy with Ravi Teja’s Veera and Naga Chaitanya’s Dream Lover. She is making her Bollywood debut with Ajay Devgn’s Singham, a remake of Suriya’s super hit cop film Singam.
