Heading to the Cell tonight. A little nervous. In the past, the Sox had a pretty good winning streak when I'm at the Cell. This year, so far 1-3 (he, that's still better that Useless Waste Adam Dunn's batting average!).

Peavy's Game- A Thing of Beauty!

CG Shutout 1-0 White Sox victory.
3H, 8K, ZERO BB, 111 pitches, 78 strikes. Only 1 runner reached as far as second base.
When Peavy is on (i.e., last year's CG shutout in Washington), it really is great to watch. Similar to Buerhle at his best but with more of a mean-streak (it would be great if they mic-ed Peavy while he was on the mound).
Some outstanding defense, but the hitting at home is still way lacking. With the weather a little warmer, that should help. I would keep Dunn in the line-up today. But if he again fails to produce, time to bench him for a day or two. Give Lillibridge and McPherson a chance. At least they hustle.

UPDATE: Just read that Peavy has not walked anyone in his first two starts.

White Sox win (great game by Brent Morel) but Adam Dunn's BA is at .197 after another "O-fer" night. Left-handed power, pleeeeeeeeeeese! Lefty batting Dallas McPherson called up yesterday in his first at-bat (pinch-hitting) gets a hit. Dunn produce against the Tribe (very needed and very overdue!) in the next two games or you shall remain "Useless Waste Adam Dunn."

Big Night for the Big Donkey! White Sox Win!

I will now remove the label: "Useless Waste" from Adam Dunn's name, as the Big Donkey had his best night as a White Sox, going 4 for 5 with a Monster solo shot leading the ChiSox to maybe their best victory of the season (still a looooooooooooong way to go!). Keep it going big guy as you are now back to being the Big Donkey!

BTW, really need to get some sleep. Stayed up till the wee hours to watch the OKC-Memphis triple OT game the other night and then extra innings last night for the ChiSox on the West Coast!

Third straight 1 run loss for the White Sox. In those games, the Sox have scored 1, 2, and 2 runs. Gee, I wonder what the problem is? It ain't the starting pitching (then again, the Twins and Mariners are not exactly offensive machines).

Batting average for Useless Waste Adam Dunn is now at .153!!

I don't know, another game tonight. Whatever!

My White Sox Continue to Suck!

Just got back from the Cell & Bacardi at the Park and guess what? The 120 million dollar payroll lose again! More in-depth analysis of the shitty-ness of my team later.

Glad that I was able to provide some of the guys in the press-box with a smile as I heckled that "Useless Waste Adam Dunn" (his official name until his average hits .200 or his hits 5 home runs. Current stats for UWAD: .157 BA and 3 HRs!

Today's Dose of K on the White Sox

Don't know why everyone is soooooooo down on yesterday's White Sox game. Three bright spots from yesterday's game.

1. The White Sox committed no errors- hey that's a big deal this season. But then again, they also got no hits.

2. Matt Thornton pitched a 1-2-3 inning! I am fairly certain that is the first time he has done that this season. If not, it has been extremely rare. But then again, the White Sox also got no hits.

3. Edwin Jackson may have pitched his second best game of the season. Unfortunately, it is nothing more than a loss because the White Sox got no hits.

White Sox Officially Hit Rock Bottom

First of all congrats to Liriano & the Twins! This was far from a work of art (6 walks- Sox had more guys on base than the Twins did!) and a bad call at first. But, still congrats.
Now the real purpose of this post: THE WHITE SOX SUCK! I can't recall ever being this disappointed!
I may wear a paper bag at the game tomorrow! Dunn, a total waste of money thus far. Sorry Dunn, you may be a nice guy, but you suck so far. I can go on and on. Something has to be done. Fire the hitting coach, Greg Walker. Send some guys down. DO SOMETHING! Speaking of something, I about to open a bottle of hard liquor. I may look like the picture above in a couple of hours.
